JUST IN: Court grants suspended DCP Abba Kyari 2 weeks bail to bury mother

A Federal High Court sitting, in Abuja, has granted a former Commander of Force Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari two weeks bail after 27 months in Kuje Prison.
Kyari is expected to go home and conclude his mother’s burial rites.

The court subsequently set Friday, May 31, for determination of his bail application in trial over drug-related charges filed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) following his arrest over two years ago on February 14, 2022.
