Ex-Lagos SSG, Aro Lambo is dead

A former Secretary to the Lagos State Government (SSG), Hon. Gausudeen Omotilewa Aro-Lambo is dead.
Aro-Lambo died late Tuesday, May 21, 2024, after a prorated battle with Diabetes and failing eyesight.

He was reportedly buried, in Lagos, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in accordance with Islamic rites. He was aged 81.
Aro-Lambo was the Secretary to the Lagos State Government during the reign of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Governor of the state between 1999 and 2007.

Aro-Lambo was a former member of the House of Representatives representing Lagos Island Federal Constituency on the platform of the erstwhile Social Democratic Party (SDP) during the aborted Third Republic midwifed by General Ibrahim Babangida.
