FRSC Corps Marshal visits Prof. Soyinka in Lagos

Corps Marshal of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, on Tuesday, July 16, paid a courtesy visit to the renowned Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, at his Lagos residence, LEADERSHIP reports.
LEADERSHIP said that the Corps Marshal’s visitation to Prof Soyinka was part of his ongoing visiting to FRSC”S Commands across the nation and of which Lagos State is inclusive.
During the visit, the Corps Marshal extended belated 90th birthday wishes to Prof Soyinka, expressing his deep respect and admiration for the literary giant.

Prof. Soyinka commended FRSC for its dedicated efforts in ensuring safer roads and promoting responsible driving habits. He provided valuable insights on enhancing the Corps’ services for the betterment of the nation.

The Corps Marshal, in response, expressed his appreciation for Prof Soyinka’s encouraging words and wise counsel. He reaffirmed FRSC’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in their mission.
“This visit is a testament to our dedication to learning from the best and improving our services for the safety of all Nigerians,” Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed stated.
Prof. Soyinka was FRSC’s pioneer chairman between 1988 and 1992.
