Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has finally addressed claims about his Igbo paternity, describing them as ‘laughable’.
He emphasised that no one should be driven away from any part of Nigeria, as “we own this country together.”
Chief Obasanjo made these comments while receiving the leadership of Ndigbo Amaka Progressive Market Association at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The group sought his support for the establishment of the Owerri Central Market, which aims to be the best of its kind in the country.
