British envoy, Abia Police Commissioner hold security meeting

The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Richard Montgomery, has paid a courtesy visit to Abia State Commissioner of Police, Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, at Police Command headquarters, in Umuahia, the state capital.
The British High Commissioner, who was accompanied by a delegation from the Commission, was welcomed Mr. Onwuemelie and members of the Police Management Team in the state.

Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, explained in a statement that the meeting “expounded on key issues related to peace and security in the state, exploring opportunities for collaboration.”
The British High Commissioner had earlier, on Tuesday, visited Governor Alex Otti, in his Umuihim Nvosi home, where they held a similar meeting.
