Benue SSG, Joseph Alakali resigns

Prof. Joseph Alakali has resigned from his position as the Secretary to the Benue State Government.
Sir. Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, announced this in a statement, on Tuesday.
He said Alakali submitted his letter of resignation on Monday, stating that he needed time to address personal challenges.

“In accepting the resignation, Governor Alia expressed gratitude to Prof. Alakali for serving the state under his administration for a year and three months.
“He wishes him well and prays that the Almighty grants the former SSG the strength to tackle the many challenges he has chosen to address”, the statement added.
