19 #EndBadGovernance protesters granted bail in Katsina

The Katsina State High Court has granted bail to the 19 protesters arrested during the “End Bad Governance”.
The protesters, detained for exercising their constitutional right to peaceful assembly, were recently released on bail.
Meanwhile, the state’s chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Barr. Ibrahim Umar, has commendably vowed to follow the case to its logical conclusion, stating that they want to ensure that justice is served and the rights of the protesters are protected.
Bar. Umar expressed concern over the Police’s mistreatment of the protesters, including minors. “It is unfortunate that the police resorted to brutality and intimidation. We will not stand for such human rights violations,” he added.
